The Life and Death of Primo Levi

Monday, 2 September 2019 | 8:00 pm

Branch: Leeds

Our own scholar Ian Vellins will speak to us on the life and death of Primo Levi.

Many of you will know of Ian’s career when, after many years as a leading lawyer, on his retirement he obtained post graduate degrees at the University of Manchester and Leeds. Ian has become an expert on the Holocaust, the kindertransport and Nazi-looted treasures.

Unfortunately, our scheduled speaker, Professor Tom Lawton, is unable to come to Leeds in September due to his academic commitments. But luckily, we have been able to re-schedule the professor’s talk for the 2nd December.
