About the event
This talk will give an outline of the history of Alfred Wiener and the Library and some of the 'highlights' of the collections and the services and resources it currently provides. The speaker will also give some examples of how the documents can be used in educational workshops and talks, including those of Ruth Ucko (pictured above).
We welcome Dr Peter Morgan, Education Officer at the Wiener Holocaust Library. Peter studied history at the University of Leeds between 1986 and 1989 before working as a history teacher in secondary schools for 21 years. Since 2010 he became increasingly involved in Holocaust education. He left the teaching profession in 2015 to research and write a doctoral thesis on British Representations of the Armenian Genocide 1915-23 at the University of Brighton.
This talk will take place on Zoom only. The link will be sent to you via email after you have booked…
